BAD COMMENT (CINEMA REVIEW) 2021

It was so nice to see Jim Iyke in this new movie. Although there were some ads for it, they did no justice to explaining what to expect in this movie. The movie tried to portray what most celebrities and stars go through from the general public, and how they have to fight to save the jobs and reputations.

I loved the way they started the first scene taking us from his terrible end back to the genesis of the movie. Jim Iyke played the lead role here as celebrity actor, who was doing so well. He was the face of popular brands, featured as key players in many movies and lived a very luxurious and flashy life, one most people admired and wanted to have, but just couldn’t have it. Soon, they started bad mouthing him and his work and accusing him wrongly.

Jim Iyke who was called Frank Orji in the movie was every woman’s dream. He drove the best of cars, travelled private jets, and lived in the best area of the bubbling city in Nigeria, until one day a video of him went viral and brought loads of bad comments for him that left his world crumbling in one day.

He went from grace to grass and just couldn’t savor anything left of his crumbled career. I am still smiling even weeks after as I watched him fight to have his life back. The end was epic. Make sure you watch for it and thank me later.

Sincerely, I totally enjoyed this new movie and I was glad I made out time to see it, as it made my day and was worth every bit of my time and money. I must commend Jim Iyke’s costumes and aura in this movie his switch from riches to rags, was amazing. He got totally infused in the movie, and over killed his role, his one actor in this movie I won’t forget in a hurry. For Osas all I will say is “I never expected that action” as in to say I absolutely didn’t see that coming at all. Her outfits were all on point, the happy unexpected end was just the beautiful climax of the movie for me and let me so excited and happy as I walked out of the door.
