PREY (NETFLIX REVIEW 2021)

By Linda
3 Min Read

You know those kinds of simple movies that start slowly, quietly and peacefully and all of a sudden transcends so fast into running to save their dear lives. It started as a very simple day where five friends go out to the woods to experience the quietness of nature, only to find out that someone wants them all dead.

Roman, his brother Albert and 3 friends decided to go on a hiking trip in the before their friend gets married. It was all fun when they started out that bright sunny day.

After a long days walk and swimming they decide to park their bags and start going back to down, when they heard gun shots come closer and closer to them, what started out as maybe a mistake or a joke, became a serious threat as they had all tyres shot which meant they couldn’t leave the woods any more. As they all still decided to wrap their heads around what was happening so fast they found out the shooter wanted them dead, this was when the movie started they all had to start running for their dear lives as this became survival of the fittest, the issue even brought quarrel and argument amongst them even hidden secrets they taught were buried as they all thought death was close.

Please make sure you pay attention to see why the shooter wanted them dead, it was a shock for me the tail end.

I must say that I liked the suspense and action that came with the movie; it was at the tail we knew who exactly the killer was and the motives behind the action. I enjoyed it if you love thriller, action and suspense then you might want to check this Netflix movie out.
