SWEET GIRL (NETFLIX REVIEW 2021)

I was happy that I bumped into this new movie topping the chart on Netflix. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but seeing ‘Jason Momoa’ the guy from ‘Aqua man’, I was drawn to give it a try.

Let’s start from the first scene that looked like Jason Momoa jumping from a very high bridge into the water wanting to escape being caught and after this scene they took us to a scene reading six months earlier to tell how it all began.

Mr Cooper was married to Amanda Cooper, who had one daughter for him, along the line she fell very ill and was dependent on a particular drug, after some time the drug was taken from the market, which made her deteriorate so fast in her health till she died.

Mr Cooper was so angry with the drug company and the government and decided to take the law into his hand by fighting for his wife and destroying all her killers. So, we actually thought till we got to the very end to see the main person behind all these, you know, those kinds of movies that leave you breathless and speechless, this is one of them.

To my verdict, I would say 6/10. It’s quiet strange why I have mixed feelings to this movie, I expected so much from and for some weird reasons, the movie just fell short of my expectations leaving me so upset and confused at the tail end. You know, one of those movies where you never expected the twist at the end.

if you love action movies that leave you bewildered and perplexed at the end, then you have just won yourself a jackpot, this is it, check it out and tell me what you think.
