I am always super excited when I have Rita Dominic play a lead role in a movie. She just knows how to kill the role. I was glad I made out time to go see it before it was taken off the cinema. I felt that she did a good job and this is not a result of me being a great fan, but because Rita is just good at what she does.
The movie was very simple and interesting. I liked the storyline and the funny way it ended in her favour. I really didn’t see that coming.
Rita Dominic who played the lead role as “Eloho Odafe” , who was married to a very wealthy man who abused her both physically and mentally. She was unhappy and depressed, and all she wanted was a way out. She decided to get a divorce and set herself free.
Little did she know that there was a clause in the signed marriage document given by the court in America about 12 years ago which wasn’t in her favour. It stated that if she filed for divorce her husband would be entitled to everything they had and she wouldn’t be entitled to a dime.
Eloho’s world came crumbling down when she realized at the tail end that she was going to leave the marriage penniless, with no job, no savings, and no business, no one to run to, she had to start from scratch.
She moved in with her friend and decided to start a firm that will help women in abusive marriages to file for a divorce and not leave empty-handed as she did.
I will stop here for now do check it out to see how things panned out for her the business, I loved the story, twist, plot, and lessons learnt.

Movie verdict
To my verdict I would score this movie 7.5/10. I liked the movie.
However, and I got loads of mixed feelings and reactions about the movie I was glad I made out time myself to see it and be the judge for you. Trust me it was nice and it didn’t end the way most people wanted hence their scoring it down.
For me, I totally understand that the movie doesn’t always have to end in your favor. It Iad a good story line and some good lessons. Yeah! Lest I forget, I love the location, the costumes and the way the cast played their role, making it look convincing and real. I must also say Tope Tedela did a good job.
